Anniversary Dinner

Last Saturday, me and hubby planned a belated anniversary dinner. 3 weeks too late because we were sort of 'long distance marriage' this month. Worn a neat dress and ready to go... to Pepener* Italian restaurant in Sudirman. Friends reviews said it is a romantic place to eat!
When we arrived at Pepener*, hubby asked the waitress for halal food choice. But the waitress replied, "No we can't provide it. The pasta sauce has already contained wine," with arrogant face >___<

Soon we left the restaurant feeling ashamed and hubby drove confusedly don't know where to go. It sucks when a night you've planned for a week did not go well. Then we decided to just go to a mall. At least mall has a lot of place to eat.

What supposed to be a romantic dinner turns to pizza-dinner at Pizz* Expr*ss :P Alhamdulillah good food. But we were so tired... Spent an hour in the road after that 'all pasta contains wine tragedy'.
Vesuvius Romana Pizza and Pesto spaghetti (not captured) at Pizz* Expre*ss.

The next day me and hubby went to Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) at Kemayoran Jakarta. Played a game in Mini Cooper booth. Hubby got Mini Cooper freebies from the quiz game :D And trying cars from hundreds of millions to BILLIONS. We tried Mercy, VW, and many Japanese car brands. It was fun! Well yeah, this activity is so fun to boyyysss riiight?

And on the way home, we passed Dapur Solo. Spontaneously I said, "That was grandpa's favorite restaurant!" and hubby offered me to go there. We are not a couple who spend a lot of time for culinary adventure, so this is quite unplanned!

We had a good chit chat and laughter while we eat this Nasi Liwet and Selad Solo. Well, if I can say, this experience is much better than our 'anniversary dinner' the day before :D

Sometimes we tend to plan everything to run smooth and nice, but most of times, spontaneous things are the best memories :)

Overall, I Love It!

Salaam ladies!
I remembered my childhood wearing overall trouser, and finding this overall denim dress brings back my memories :D
Overall is "Loose-fitting trousers, usually of strong fabric, with a bib front and shoulder straps, often worn over regular clothing as protection from dirt." (taken from thefreedictionary)
What I love the most is, I can wear it with whatever shirt and whatever jilbab and also cardigan if I want to. Well, similar with sleeveless maxi dress ;)
I think I looked *a bit* younger hahahahaha...

Hijab: Mezora (by Zoya), doubled with yellow paris hijab
Tee: unbranded boy shirt
Overall denim: Dust (available at Matahari Dept Store)

Okayyy see you later, blog!

Have a nice flowery day!

I always wanted a fresh floral bouquet at home, but where is the nearest place to buy them? Rawa Belong is too far away.
Sooo envy with instagram people who posted fresh flowers at their home every day >_< And oh, I was too late to join Living Loving class: Play With Flowers. It looks fun! They make flower crowns & bouquets.

I wanted to make a flower crown but had no flowers, so... I painted a floral border:

The flower design was inspired by scrapbook paper I bought (see picture below). However, I cannot imitate the real drawing. I guess everyone has their own style of art :)
Background: scrapbook paper

BTW Mochamochi is really yummy :9 I love the original peanut. Haven't tried the cheese, ovomaltine, and paste series, because I already in love with the original. Cute packaging, too :*

Review: Create Your Own Unique Phone Case

Salaam,
Recently I got my customized phone cases from Pokaku... umm well, actually not for me. I ordered them for my hubby's iPhone 5C & bro in law's 5S.
In Pokaku website, we can choose cases for phone & tablet, and choose to buy artist's design or create our own. This is fun!!

Ready made design are a bit more expensive, because it includes royalty for the artist. I choose to design the case myself, so easy because Pokaku provide a simple program in the website to upload your desired picture & text & so on.

We can also sell our design if we want to, and set how much royalty we want each time people buy a case of our art in Pokaku. Exciting, right? One thing to remember if you wanna sell them is your art should be made by you, not from copyrighted materials.

So happy when Pokaku arrived! Only about 3 days from my design submission! Nice & safe packaging. I designed (a very simple design: Garuda in wooden) for hubby, and bro in law wanted Paul Fr*nk's pattern to match his ID strap.

Can you see the difference? One is doff and one is glossy :D As I wanted! Hehehe the wooden print looked so real in doff ;)

There is only one small cons in my experience with Pokaku: there's a bit imperfection of pattern in curved corner of the case. Well maybe it's because of manufacturing process, bending flat object to curve ;)

Aaaand I wish Pokaku had Lenovo phone case. Right now they only make Blackberry, iPhone, iPod, LG, Samsung, and Sony cases.

Overall, my experience with Pokaku is satisfying! Aren't they lovely & make perfect gifts?
